Official guidelines, customer responsibilities, production terms, and policies for NurRidge custom orders.

Welcome to NurRidge.

Introduction

NurRidge is the registered Doing Business As (DBA) name of N&Z Art Framing LLC, a California limited liability company based in Sacramento, California ("NurRidge," "we," "our," or "us").

These Terms, Conditions & Policies ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

Genertal Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

By using our website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Our Products and Services

NurRidge provides custom-made products and services, including but not limited to:

  • Canvas printing
  • Gallery wrapped canvas
  • Canvas stretching
  • Framed canvas
  • Floater frames
  • Fine art printing
  • Artwork reproduction
  • Custom framing
  • Commercial and B2B printing
  • Packaging and shipping services

All products are manufactured to customer specifications.

3. Custom Orders

Because every order is custom produced, customers are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Uploaded artwork is correct.
  • Dimensions are accurate.
  • Cropping selections are reviewed.
  • Frame selections are correct.
  • Color preferences are acceptable.
  • Shipping information is accurate.

Production begins after an order is confirmed and payment has been received unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Customer Artwork

You retain ownership of any artwork, photographs, logos, or designs you upload.

By submitting artwork, you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to the artwork, or
  • You have permission from the copyright owner to reproduce it.

You agree to indemnify NurRidge against any claims arising from unauthorized use of copyrighted material supplied by you.

NurRidge reserves the right to refuse any order that may infringe intellectual property rights or violate applicable law.

5. Product Variations

Each product is handcrafted and individually manufactured.

Minor variations may occur, including:

  • Color differences caused by monitor calibration
  • Slight cropping adjustments
  • Natural wood grain variations
  • Canvas texture differences
  • Hand-stretched canvas tension
  • Minor dimensional tolerances
  • Frame finish variations

These variations are considered normal and are not defects.

6. Proofing

Where digital proofs are provided, customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving them.

Once production begins, additional changes may require a new order or additional charges.

7. Pricing

Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without prior notice.

Errors in pricing, product descriptions, or availability may be corrected at any time before an order is accepted.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be calculated during checkout where required.

8. Payment

Payment must be received before production begins unless otherwise agreed.

We accept payment methods available through our website.

Orders may be canceled if payment authorization cannot be completed.

9. Production Times

Estimated production times are provided for planning purposes only.

Actual production may vary depending on:

  • Order complexity
  • Artwork approval
  • Material availability
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Shipping carrier delays
  • Weather or other circumstances beyond our control

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.

10. Shipping

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once an order has been delivered to the shipping carrier.

Customers should inspect packages promptly upon delivery.

Any shipping damage should be reported within 5 business days and supported by photographs of:

  • The packaging
  • Shipping label
  • Damaged product

Failure to report shipping damage within this timeframe may affect our ability to process a claim.

11. Order Changes and Cancellation

Because our products are custom manufactured, changes or cancellations may not be possible after production has begun.

If production has not started, we may approve changes or cancellations at our discretion.

12. Returns and Refunds

Custom-made products are generally not eligible for return simply because a customer changes their mind.

Returns or replacements may be considered if:

  • The incorrect product was manufactured.
  • The product arrives damaged.
  • A manufacturing defect exists.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for additional information.

13. Warranty

NurRidge warrants that products will be manufactured with reasonable care and craftsmanship.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Customer artwork errors
  • Improper installation
  • Misuse
  • Abuse
  • Exposure to excessive moisture
  • Direct sunlight causing fading over time
  • Accidental damage
  • Normal wear and aging

14. Color Accuracy and Print Expectations

NurRidge strives to reproduce artwork as accurately as possible. However, printed products may vary slightly from what is displayed on digital screens due to differences in monitor calibration, screen brightness, color profiles, printer technology, inks, canvas materials, lighting conditions, and viewing environments.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that uploaded files are of sufficient quality and correctly prepared for printing. Unless professional color-matching services have been specifically requested and agreed upon, minor color variations between digital files and the finished product are considered normal and are not manufacturing defects.

15. Image Resolution and Print Quality

The quality of the finished product depends significantly on the quality of the artwork provided by the customer.

NurRidge is not responsible for print defects resulting from:

  • Low-resolution images
  • Pixelated or compressed files
  • Incorrect color profiles
  • Poor image quality supplied by the customer
  • Improper file preparation

If we identify a potential quality concern before production, we may contact the customer. However, NurRidge is not obligated to review every uploaded file for print suitability.

16. Commercial and B2B Orders

NurRidge proudly serves businesses including hotels, interior designers, offices, galleries, photographers, healthcare facilities, hospitality groups, and corporate clients.

For commercial projects:

  • Custom quotations remain valid for the period stated in the quotation.
  • Production schedules begin after artwork approval and receipt of any required deposit or payment.
  • Lead times for large projects may vary depending on order volume and material availability.
  • Partial deliveries may occur when appropriate.
  • Commercial clients are responsible for verifying quantities, dimensions, installation requirements, and project specifications before production begins.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, commercial orders are custom manufactured and are subject to the same return limitations applicable to all custom products.

17. Installation Responsibility

NurRidge provides professionally manufactured artwork intended for installation by customers or qualified installers.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Selecting appropriate mounting hardware.
  • Ensuring walls and mounting surfaces are suitable.
  • Verifying installation locations.
  • Safely installing oversized or heavy artwork.

NurRidge is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, unsuitable mounting surfaces, structural failures, or misuse after delivery.

18. Product Care

To maximize the life of your artwork, we recommend:

  • Displaying artwork indoors.
  • Avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Keeping artwork away from excessive humidity and moisture.
  • Avoiding contact with harsh cleaning chemicals.
  • Dusting gently using a soft, dry cloth.

Improper storage, cleaning, or environmental conditions may affect the appearance and longevity of printed products and are not covered under warranty.

19. Packaging and Shipping Inspection

NurRidge carefully packages every order before shipment.

Customers should inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.

If visible damage exists:

  • Photograph the outer packaging before opening.
  • Photograph all interior packaging.
  • Photograph the damaged product.
  • Retain all original packaging materials until the claim has been resolved.

Failure to retain packaging may limit our ability to assist with carrier claims.

20. Force Majeure

NurRidge shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Fires
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Severe weather
  • Power outages
  • Labor shortages
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Transportation delays
  • Government actions
  • Public health emergencies
  • Cybersecurity incidents

During such events, production and delivery schedules may be extended accordingly.

21. Limitation of Warranty

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, all products are provided "as is" without additional warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

22. Electronic Communications

By using our website or providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic communications from NurRidge regarding:

  • Quotes
  • Orders
  • Shipping updates
  • Customer service inquiries
  • Account notifications
  • Policy updates

You may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time, though transactional communications related to your orders may still be sent.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Artwork & Copyright Policy, and any other policies published on our website, constitute the entire agreement between you and NurRidge concerning the use of our website and services.

24. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action relating to these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.

25. Changes to These Terms

NurRidge reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

Changes become effective upon posting to this website.

Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Refund, Return & Replacement Policy

1. Custom-Made Products

Unless otherwise stated, all NurRidge products are made to order, including:

  • Canvas prints
  • Gallery wrapped canvas
  • Framed canvas
  • Floater frames
  • Canvas stretching
  • Fine art printing
  • Artwork reproductions
  • Commercial and B2B orders

Because these products are manufactured specifically for you, they generally cannot be returned or exchanged simply because you changed your mind.

2. Returns We Cannot Accept

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Ordering the wrong size
  • Incorrect frame selection
  • Incorrect edge or wrap option selected
  • Customer-approved cropping
  • Customer-approved proofs
  • Customer-supplied spelling or design errors
  • Low-resolution artwork provided by the customer
  • Slight color differences between screen and print
  • Natural wood or canvas variations
  • Normal handcrafted characteristics

3. Eligible Refunds or Replacements

We will review requests for refunds or replacements if:

  • You received the wrong product.
  • The wrong size was manufactured.
  • The wrong frame was supplied.
  • The product arrived with shipping damage.
  • The item contains a manufacturing defect.
  • The order does not match your approved specifications.

If a replacement is approved, NurRidge may reproduce and ship a replacement product at no additional cost.

4. Reporting an Issue

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If you believe there is a problem, notify us within 5 business days of receiving your shipment.

Your request should include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging (if shipping damage occurred)
  • Photographs of the shipping label

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect our ability to provide a replacement or assist with a shipping claim.

5. Shipping Damage

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Keep all original packaging.
  2. Photograph the outside of the package before opening if damage is visible.
  3. Photograph all internal packaging.
  4. Photograph the damaged product.
  5. Contact NurRidge promptly.

Do not dispose of the packaging until the claim has been resolved, as the carrier may require inspection.

6. Manufacturing Defects

If we determine that a manufacturing defect exists, NurRidge may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace the product; or
  • Issue a refund where a replacement is not practical.

7. Customer-Supplied Artwork

NurRidge prints exactly what is submitted or approved by the customer.

We are not responsible for:

  • Low image resolution
  • Pixelation
  • Blurry photographs
  • Incorrect spelling
  • Design mistakes
  • Incorrect dimensions supplied by the customer
  • Copyright issues relating to uploaded artwork

Customers are responsible for reviewing proofs and order details before production begins.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before production begins.

Once production has started, cancellations may not be possible because materials and labor have already been committed.

If cancellation is approved after production has started, partial charges may apply.

9. Commercial and B2B Orders

Commercial, hospitality, interior design, wholesale, and other B2B orders are custom manufactured and are generally non-refundable after production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error made by NurRidge.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Order Processing

Each order is individually manufactured after it is placed.

Production begins once:

  • Payment has been successfully received; and
  • Artwork and order specifications have been approved, when applicable.

2. Production Times

Production time varies depending on:

  • Product type
  • Size
  • Frame selection
  • Order quantity
  • Material availability
  • Production schedule

Estimated production times displayed on our website are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

3. Shipping Methods

NurRidge partners with reputable shipping carriers to deliver orders throughout the United States and, where available, internationally.

Available shipping options and costs are displayed during checkout.

4. Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates depend on:

  • Shipping destination
  • Selected shipping service
  • Carrier operations
  • Weather conditions
  • Seasonal demand
  • Customs processing (for international orders)

Once an order has been shipped, delivery is the responsibility of the shipping carrier.

5. Tracking Information

Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment progress and ensuring someone is available to receive deliveries when required.

6. Packaging

NurRidge carefully packages every product using materials selected to help protect artwork during transit.

7. Shipping Damage

If your shipment arrives damaged:

  • Photograph the unopened package if damage is visible.
  • Photograph the shipping label.
  • Photograph all packaging materials.
  • Photograph the damaged product.
  • Contact NurRidge within 5 business days.

Please retain all packaging materials until your claim has been resolved.

8. Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

NurRidge is not responsible for delays, additional shipping costs, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses supplied by the customer.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply before reshipment.

9. Lost Shipments

If tracking indicates a shipment has been lost, NurRidge will work with the shipping carrier to investigate.

Replacement or refund decisions will be made after the carrier's investigation has been completed.

10. Large and Oversized Orders

Large framed artwork and commercial shipments may:

  • Require freight delivery.
  • Require appointment scheduling.
  • Require assistance during unloading.
  • Incur additional shipping charges.

Commercial customers should ensure adequate access for delivery vehicles.

11. International Orders

Where international shipping is offered:

Customers are responsible for:

  • Import duties
  • Customs fees
  • Taxes
  • Local government charges

NurRidge is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

12. Risk of Loss

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the shipment has been delivered to the shipping carrier, except where prohibited by applicable law.

NurRidge will assist customers with shipping claims when appropriate.

13. Force Majeure

Shipping and delivery may be delayed due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, labor shortages, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Artwork, Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

1. Ownership of Your Artwork

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the artwork, photographs, logos, illustrations, graphics, and other files you submit to NurRidge.

Submitting artwork to NurRidge does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property to us.

2. License to Produce Your Order

By uploading or submitting artwork, you grant NurRidge a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Print your artwork.
  • Manufacture your ordered products.
  • Resize or crop files as necessary for production.
  • Store files for order fulfillment, customer service, and approved reorders.
  • Communicate with you regarding your artwork and order.

This license ends once your order has been completed and any applicable record-retention period has expired, except where we retain files for customer convenience or to comply with legal obligations.

3. Customer Responsibility

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own the artwork you submit; or
  • You have obtained all required licenses, permissions, or written authorization to reproduce it.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your submitted content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

4. Copyrighted Material

NurRidge will not knowingly reproduce material protected by copyright without appropriate authorization.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Professional photography
  • Artwork by artists
  • Movie or television images
  • Sports logos
  • Brand logos
  • Album covers
  • Licensed characters
  • Books or magazine artwork

If requested, we may require written proof that you have permission to reproduce copyrighted material.

5. Trademarked Content

Customers may not submit logos, trademarks, service marks, or other protected branding unless they own the rights or have written authorization from the trademark owner.

NurRidge reserves the right to decline any order involving unauthorized trademark use.

6. AI-Generated Artwork

Customers may submit artwork created using artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use, reproduce, and commercially print AI-generated content.

NurRidge does not determine ownership of AI-generated artwork and makes no representations regarding its copyright status.

7. Right to Refuse Artwork

NurRidge reserves the right to refuse any order containing content that:

  • Infringes copyright or trademark rights.
  • Violates applicable law.
  • Contains defamatory, threatening, or harassing material.
  • Promotes hate, violence, or discrimination.
  • Contains explicit or obscene content.
  • Is fraudulent or misleading.
  • Presents safety, ethical, or reputational concerns.

Our decision to refuse an order does not constitute a legal determination regarding ownership or legality.

8. Color Adjustments and Production

Unless professional editing services are specifically requested, NurRidge prints artwork substantially as provided.

We may make minor production adjustments such as:

  • Cropping
  • Scaling
  • Rotation
  • Bleed adjustments
  • Edge wrapping for gallery wraps

These adjustments are made solely to produce the requested product and do not alter ownership of the artwork.

9. Artwork Storage

For customer convenience, NurRidge may retain artwork files for future reorders or customer support.

We are not obligated to permanently archive customer files.

Customers are encouraged to maintain their own copies of all submitted artwork.

You may request deletion of stored artwork, subject to our legal, accounting, and operational record-retention requirements.

10. Portfolio and Marketing Use

NurRidge respects customer privacy.

We will not display or use customer-submitted artwork for marketing, advertising, social media, our website, or promotional materials without the customer's permission, except where the artwork has been independently made publicly available by the customer or its owner, or where required by law.

When permission is granted, customers may revoke future promotional use by contacting us. Revocation will not apply to materials already published before the request was received.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless N&Z Art Framing LLC, doing business as NurRidge, along with its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates, from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Copyright infringement.
  • Trademark infringement.
  • Unauthorized reproduction.
  • Defamation.
  • Violation of privacy or publicity rights.
  • Any other legal claim relating to artwork submitted by you.

12. Intellectual Property of NurRidge

All content appearing on the NurRidge website, including but not limited to:

  • The NurRidge name and branding.
  • Logos.
  • Website design.
  • Product photographs.
  • Graphics.
  • Product descriptions.
  • Marketing materials.
  • Page layouts.
  • Original written content.

is owned by or licensed to N&Z Art Framing LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

13. Copyright Infringement Claims

If you believe that content produced or displayed by NurRidge infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work.
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material.
  • A statement explaining your ownership or authority.
  • Any supporting documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

We will review and respond to legitimate claims in accordance with applicable law.

14. Policy Updates

NurRidge may revise this Artwork, Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy from time to time. Updates become effective upon posting to our website.
